Social Media Competitions and Giveaways

• By entering our competitions/giveaways, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

• The promoter is Rubber Monkey whose registered office is at 1/80 Adelaide Road, Newtown, Wellington, New Zealand 6011. 

• Competitions and giveaways are only open to individuals residing in New Zealand and who are not employees or directors of Rubber Monkey, or immediate family members/friends of those employees or directors.

• If an entrant is under the age of 18, they must obtain consent from their parent or legal guardian before entering the competition or giveaway and email through to us. 

• To enter competitions/giveaways, entrants must follow all competition rules. If failed to do so, your entry will be invalid. 

• Entries for the competitions/ giveaways must be submitted during the time specified in the promotional copy connected to the post. Any entries submitted after the time specified will not be accepted. 

• The promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not received correctly.

• Rubber Monkey reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who does not follow the entry criteria, has not complied with these Terms and Conditions or tampers with the entry process in any way.

• The process used to select a winner will be detailed in the description. Where winners are to be chosen at random, a random comment generator will be used. 

• All valid entries received between the dates specified in the description will be considered for the prize. 

• The number of winners for each competition or giveaway will be detailed in the description.

• The result of each competition draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• The prize for each competition or giveaway will be detailed in the competition description with a link to the product/s. 

• Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

• Winners for each competition or giveaway will be announced in the comments section of the post, where the winner must contact Rubber Monkey (unless stated that Rubber Monkey will contact first). 

• If the winner/s has not made contact with Rubber Monkey and Rubber Monkey has made direct messages to the winner/s and is unable to contact the winner after having made reasonable efforts to do so, then after 10 days since the winner announcement, Rubber Monkey reserves the right to disqualify the entry and select a new winner for the prize. 

• Prizes need to be organised and claimed within two weeks after the announcement and the messaging between two parties, whether it is to be posted out or picked up. 

• Entrants agree to a complete release of Facebook and any other social network from any and all liability associated with the use of the social network for this promotion. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or any other social network.
