August 19th marks World Photography Day, an annual, worldwide celebration of the art, craft, science and history of photography. This year we want you to push boundaries, tell stories and capture your adventurous spirit with our latest photography competition sponsored by OM SYSTEM!

Judged by the Award Winning Adventure Photographer Matt Horspool
Matt is a photographer with a passion for photographing the far-flung regions and cultures of the world. He has been fortunate enough to live, work, and backpack across 48 - countries on all seven continents. His awarded images and articles have been featured in numerous print and online publications and have been exhibited in London, Sydney, Milan, and Berlin.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
By entering the competition, entrants confirm they own the rights to the photo(s) submitted.
All photos submitted must reflect the theme ‘ADVENTURE’. Photos that do not reflect the theme will not be considered.
Submitted photos can be taken with a DSLR, mirrorless, drone, smartphone… your choice!
Images found to be AI generated will be disqualified.
Post production using editing is allowed.
Entry into the competition is limited to a maximum of 4 images per person. If more than 4 are entered, the first 4 images submitted will be judged and the remaining will not be considered.
First place wins a OM-5 Mirrorless Camera w/ 14-150mm Lens
Second place wins a f-stop $500 Voucher
Third place wins a Lexar 1TB SSD & Dual-Slot Card Reader
The winning image will be chosen by guest judge Matt Horspool.
Submissions open from the 17 Aug - 17 Sep 2023.
The winner will be announced via Rubber Monkey's social media channels, email and blog.
With the photographer's permission, winning images may be printed and displayed in our Wellington, Auckland or Sydney office and the photographers may receive a printed copy of their submission.
The competition is open to anyone residing in New Zealand.

Rubber Monkey and OM SYSTEM do not own the rights to any photographs submitted into the competition. Winners retain all rights to their images. We will not use winning images outside of the competition without the photographer's permission.
