Get ready to capture the beauty of texture with our latest photography competition sponsored by Fujifilm & Lexar.
Theme: TEXTURE
We want you to showcase your creativity and photography skills by capturing unique textures in your surroundings. Whether it's capturing delicate patterns in nature, the gritty surfaces of urban landscapes, or highlighting the textures of skin to create stunning portraits; texture comes in all shapes and sizes and we want to see it all!

The winning photos will be selected based on creativity, uniqueness and quality of execution in relation to the theme, and will be chosen by a Fujifilm X-Photographer.

By entering the competition, entrants confirm they own the rights to the photo(s) submitted.
All photos submitted must reflect the theme ‘TEXTURE’. Photos that do not reflect the theme will not be considered.
Submitted photos can be taken with a DSLR, mirrorless, drone, smartphone… your choice!
Entry into the competition is limited to a maximum of 4 images per person. If more than 4 are entered, the first 4 images submitted will be judged and the remaining will not be considered.
First place wins a Fujifilm X-T5 with 18-55mm Lens and 2x Lexar 128GB Memory Cards.
Second and third place will each win a Lexar 1TB Portable Drive & Dual-Slot Card Reader.
The winning image will be chosen by a guest judge from Fujifilm’s X-photographers.
Submissions open from the 4th May - 31st May 2023.
The winner will be announced via Rubber Monkey's social media channels, email and blog.
With the photographer's permission, winning images may be printed and displayed in our Wellington, Auckland or Sydney office and the photographers may receive a printed copy of their submission.
The competition is open to anyone residing in New Zealand.
Before submitting your entry, please rename your file in the following format: ‘Full Name_Title’. If your file name is not following this format, your image will not be considered.
Rubber Monkey, Fujifilm and Lexar do not own the rights to any photographs submitted into the competition. Winners retain all rights to their images. We will not use winning images outside of the competition without the photographer's permission.
