We've teamed up with Nikon and Manfrotto this summer to bring you our latest photography competition!
Theme: SUMMER IN MOTION
Whether it's a surfer getting barreled by a wave, a speeding skateboarder or a mountain biker on New Zealand's epic trails, we want to see you flex your photography skills and send us the best photo you can that reflects your summer in motion!
The winner will score themselves a Nikon Z 30 Mirrorless Camera with 16-50mm Lens along with a Manfrotto Befree Live Carbon Fiber Tripod worth over $2300!

Guest Judge: JAY FRENCH
Inspired by travel, Jay is a global photographer who calls New Zealand home, creating campaigns for a host of prominent brands including Nikon, Red Bull, Macpac, Tourism New Zealand and many more. His dramatic style has led him to become an official Nikon 'Z Creator' and winner of numerous awards.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
All photos submitted must reflect the theme ‘SUMMER IN MOTION’, and be your image.
Submitted photos can be taken with a DSLR, mirrorless, drone, smartphone… your choice!
Entry into the competition is limited to a maximum of 4 images per person. If more than 4 are entered, the first 4 images submitted will be judged and the remaining will not be considered.
First place wins a Nikon Z 30 Mirrorless Camera with 16-50mm Lens and a Manfrotto Befree Live Carbon Fiber Tripod.
The winning image will be chosen by our guest judge, Nikon creator Jay French.
Submissions open from 14 December - 15 January 2023
The winner will be announced via Rubber Monkey's social media channels, email and blog.
Submissions that make our short list may be displayed on our screens in Auckland and Wellington and/or featured on our social media after the competition has closed.
The winning images may be printed and displayed in our Wellington, Auckland or Sydney office and the photographers may receive a printed copy of their submission.
The competition is open to anyone residing in New Zealand
