We are excited to once again host our third annual ‘World Photography Day’ Competition. Thursday 19th August marks World Photography Day, an annual, worldwide celebration of the art, craft, science and history of photography. Our theme this year is ‘Light’.
We want you to submit your photos that capture interesting light. Whether it’s creating sunbursts during golden hour, capturing the lively bustle of the city at night or even painting with light.
We have $3000 in vouchers to give away to THREE people with photographs that show the most beautiful & creative uses of light.
First place = $1500 voucher
Second place = $1000 voucher
Third place = $500 voucher
Vouchers can be used for the following brands: Peak Design, Manfrotto, Lowepro, Joby, Syrp, Marumi & Tamron.
Submissions are open 19th – 8th September 2021.
Terms & Conditions
All photos submitted must reflect the theme ‘Light’, and be your original image.
Submitted photos can be taken with a DSLR, mirrorless, drone, smartphone… your choice!
Entry into the competition is limited to a maximum of 4 images per person. If more than 4 are entered, the first 4 images submitted will be judged and the remaining will not be considered.
First place wins $1500 in vouchers, Second place wins $1000 in vouchers, Third place wins $500 in vouchers.
Entrants will only be eligible to win one of the three vouchers.
Vouchers need to be used by 31 October 2021.
The winning images will be chosen by Rubber Monkey.
The winners will receive a printed copy of their submission.
The winning images may be printed and displayed in the Rubber Monkey Wellington Office.
The competition is open to anyone residing in New Zealand.
Submissions are open from the 18th of August to the 8th of September 2021.
Before submitting your entry, please rename your file in the following format: ‘Full Name – Title’. If your file name is not following this format, your image will not be considered.
